China: A One Minute Overview

We've had several emails from people asking us to describe the experience of going to China as one of the first Canadian bands to make such a trip and there's definitely plenty to say.    In the three weeks we've been home there has been lots of catching up to do but I will touch on some of the major aspects of the trip now and we can add other impressions with more depth as time goes on.  Check out the gallery to see some of the pics, more of which will be added later.

The autum wind ...and the winter wind

Martha Stewart has been cleared to visit Nova Scotia and if all goes as planned we'll be returning the favour on the American side of the border with a visit to Lincoln Nebraska next week. The paperwork for cross-border work is very time sensitive and we are grateful for the assistance of the local congressional representative.

Jack Bonaparte a good friend to the Carroll bros. and a champion of East Coast music has had a bit of health trouble lately. His freinds are joining forces to help out at 7 :00PM on Sunday October 2nd at the Savoy Theater in Glace Bay N.S.

Due to previous commitments Sons of Maxwell are unable to help out with the performance side of the benefit . We do however strongly encourage everyone who is available to attend the show. It is going to be a great night of entertainment in support of a great guy and good freind to many.
